The 2025 edition will mark the 27th year of this renowned conference, featuring two keynote presentations, 22 seminar sessions, 4 optional post-conference courses, and over 75 tradeshow booths. Consistently one of Canada’s largest and most popular occupational safety events, it has sold out for the past 12 years! What sets this conference apart from others? Each year, the conference steering committee travels across Canada and the U.S. to find the latest, most engaging, and high-quality sessions and speakers, working diligently to bring them to Vancouver.  Attending the Conference? Last Minute Info You May Want To Know

  1. Commuting to the conference? It’s located in the Hyatt Regency Vancouver, 655 Burrard Street, Vancouver. The best way to reach it is via Skytrain with the Burrard Skytrain station located right beside the Hyatt Regency. Canada Line’s Vancouver City Centre Station is located just 2 blocks away. Parking will be very full at the Hyatt but there is a fair number of public parking facilities located close by.
  2. Arriving on Sunday April 13? Beat the Monday morning rush and pick up your delegate badge and on-site program at the conference registration desk. Located on the 3rd floor of the Hyatt Regency and open Sunday from 3:00 – 6:30pm.
  3. Monday/Tuesday Registration Desk Hours are Monday 7am – 4:30pm, Tuesday 7:00am – 3:15pm
  4. Lunch is NOT provided as part of your conference registration. The hotel features the Mosaic Grill Restaurant and a Starbucks. Across the lobby breezeway is a MacDonalds and a Tim Hortons, plus there is a food court in the Royal Centre Mall under the Hyatt Regency. Just next door in the Bentall Centre Mall there are 2 more food courts. Outside at street level there are many popular restaurants and food trucks located within 1-2 blocks.
  5. Due to unforeseen circumstances, Session 3C: How AI Has Completely Compromised High Risk Safety Training, has been replaced with Safety Factors During An Incident Response.
  6. The entire conference is a scent-free environment. In consideration of others, please avoid the use of perfume or personal scents.

Close to 700 Registered to Attend

As of today there is just short of 700 people registered to attend the conference. That’s a new record high for this point before the conference. Last year we sold out on early payment deadline date and its certainly looking like that will happen again this year. If you are planning to attend we suggest you do it soon to avoid missing out on THE occupational safety conference of the year.

Passing 250+ Registrations and Safety Tradeshow Booths Totally Sold Out

As of this morning, we’ve surpassed 250 registrations, well above the usual 110 at this point. The Safety Tradeshow is also completely sold out of booth space, the earliest ever. While many conference seats are still available, keep in mind that last year’s conference sold out before the early payment deadline (March 13 for this year). If you plan to attend, we recommend registering soon. Thanks to everyone who has already registered or booked a booth!

Conference Registrations Off To A Strong Start

2025 Western Conference Safety registrations are are starting off with a bang! Delegate and tradeshow safety booth sales already ahead of the same point in 2024, which was the record-setting year. Although plenty of seats are still available, we recommend registering soon to secure your spot and avoid missing out. Special note for tradeshow displayers thinking of purchasing a booth, as of January 3/25 there are only 9 booths still available.
