Attending the Conference? Last Minute Information to Help You
- Commuting to the conference? It’s located in the Hyatt Regency Vancouver, 655 Burrard Street, Vancouver. The best way to reach it is via Skytrain with the Burrard Skytrain station located right beside the Hyatt Regency. Canada Line’s Vancouver City Centre station is located just 2 blocks away. Parking will be very full at the Hyatt but there is a fair number of public parking facilities located close by.
- Arriving on Sunday April 7? Beat the Monday morning rush and pick up your registration package at the conference registration desk. Open Sunday from 3:30 – 6:30pm on the 3rd floor
- Monday/Tuesday Conference registration desk hours are Monday 7:00- 4:30, Tuesday 7:00 – 2:45pm.
- Lunch is NOT provided as part of your conference registration. The hotel features the Mosaic Grill restaurant, plus there is a large food court located in the Royal Centre Mall located under the Hyatt Regency hotel and just next door in the Bentall Centre Mall there are 2 more food courts. Outside at street level there are many popular restaurants and food trucks located within 1-2 blocks.
- The entire conference is a scent-free environment. In consideration of others, please avoid the use of perfume or personal scents.
The Western Conference on Safety is the largest Occupational Health & Safety Conference in Western Canada. Now in its 24th year and featuring 2 keynote presentations, 20 conference seminars, 5 post conference courses and 80 safety tradeshow booths this year’s conference promises to be the biggest and best yet. Yes its true. If you want to register for the full conference (ie: Monday and Tuesday) or just the single day Tuesday of the conference there are still lots of seats available. But if you were hoping to purchase a single day registration for just Monday April 8/19 those Monday only seats are now SOLD OUT. But to repeat, there are still lots of full conference seats and Tuesday Only seats available.
